Tree planting at Lake Nkuruba nature reserve
Nkuruba Community Tours is proud to lead a transformative initiative to restore the Nkuruba Forest a once-thriving biodiversity haven near Lake Nkuruba in western Uganda. Over 15 acres have already been restored, with continued efforts to reclaim more than 100 acres through our Reforestation Project.
Through responsible tourism, we invite travellers to take part in meaningful conservation work planting trees, supporting our expanding tree nursery, and spreading awareness. Every visit directly contributes to environmental recovery, local conservation education, and the wellbeing of our communities.
Our Child Support Program helps disadvantaged children access education by providing school fees, supplies, and mentorship. A portion of proceeds from every tour supports this vital cause, empowering the next generation with knowledge and opportunity. Reach out to make a donation to this project, we appreciate your support.
