Plan Your Trip

The Best Time for Bush Camping

The best time for bush camping and wildlife experiences is generally during Uganda's dry seasons, when roads are easier to navigate, wildlife gathers around water sources, and camping conditions are more comfortable. The main dry periods are usually December to February and June to September.
