After an early breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for a mandatory briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guides.
During the briefing, you will learn about gorilla trekking guidelines, safety procedures, and conservation efforts before being assigned a gorilla family.
You will then begin your trek into the ancient rainforest of Bwindi. The trek can take between 2 and 8 hours, depending on the location of your assigned gorilla family. Along the way, enjoy the incredible biodiversity of Bwindi, including colourful birds, butterflies, unique plant species, and other forest wildlife.
The moment you encounter the mountain gorillas is unforgettable. Watch these gentle giants feed, communicate, groom, and interact within their family groups while surrounded by the beauty of their natural habitat.
You will spend one magical hour observing the gorillas before beginning your return trek.
After receiving your gorilla trekking certificate and enjoying lunch, continue to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi.
